YOUR META-MATERIAL WORLD

     In teaching... and in my various courses, I often refer to belief systems, filters of perception and other programming and information that create what you call your reality. To some it appears mystical, invisible or other worldly... somewhat like the subtleness of the Light Orbs... no matter how physically material the Light Orbs must be for your naked eye or the camera, for that matter, to see them. To others, the idea of systems of belief coloring their every day world makes perfect sense... and they are alert and aware when their conditioned perceptions create a miasma of projection in their lives.

     No matter where you may fall on the scale of seeing is believing or believing is seeing, I would like to introduce you to a scientific discovery that is making its way through the intellectual community so you can see how it applies to you, as well. Remember, as above, so below. What happens in one realm of creation happens in the rest.
     Researchers are calling this new discovery a two-dimensional cloak of invisibility. It uses light, the basis for and constituency of all life, and it uses it in a particular manner. The material used is called meta-material. The common definition of "meta" is something that is self-referential; it refers to itself. Yet the etymology of the word, the original use of it... is "beyond". So if we take both of those ideas and put them together, we have material that is beyond the idea of physical material... that refers to itself. Doesn't that sort of sound like spirit?
     Using meta-material, the scientists found that they could bend the light in such a way that it did not illuminate the object at which they were shining the light and therefore they did not see the object... i.e., they made it invisible. Yet, because it is difficult to make a meta-material powerful enough to prevent distortions in the invisibility, they devised another method to "cloak" their chosen object.
     What they used was a piece of silicon which is a semiconductor that conducts energy easily and bored holes in the piece of silicon. Then they placed the drilled silicon over a bulging metal surface. When they reflected infrared light through the holes in the right direction, the light shining through the holes reflected from the bulging metal as if it were flat, i.e. the bulge was invisible... so

     Without getting lost in the scientific details here, let's use this as a metaphor for filtered perception. Perception is the act of understanding something you have become aware of. That is where your filtering process lies... in the "becoming aware of" because the feeling you get when you "become aware of something" is immediately, and I do mean immediately, segmented into dual definitions through your mind which is reliant on comparing familiar to unfamiliar, good to bad, right to wrong, positive to negative. And because this action is so fast, you hardly have a chance to know how you truly feel about something you have perceived because your protective filter comes up which, in so many words, says "how will this effect me" ... good or bad, positive or negative.
     So, getting back to the meta-material or the silicon punched full of holes - what that metaphor tells you is that if you place a certain type of filter on your perception, you will see differently. In fact, you might not even perceive the object or action at all depending upon the filter that you use to "cloak" it.

     As an example, if you place a meta-compassion (read that beyond compassion) a meta-compassion filter on your perception, you will have the experience of uncompromised compassion for whatever you perceive. Likewise, if you place a filter of meta-worry over your perception, no matter what you look at or experience will bring you anxiety that will cloud all of the area of your life. Or your meta-love will be truly unconditional in its filtering process... your meta-joy will turn work into play and so on.

     Using the physical world, the scientific world, to mirror your inner world is a meta experience because it is self-referring. When you take the experiments that are being conducted on the fabric of the natural world around you and realize that they also pertain to you, you tap into the hologram in which you exist... in which you have your being. Then you are being meta - physical which is beyond the physical yet refers back to it. Again, as above, so below.
