     Dear Ralph, Hello from England. You are only the second gentleman that I have read for the website. First one was The Night Watchman himself, so it is a nice change for me. It gives me great pleasure to do this reading for you, and please note, I am a long way away and I have just the photograph to contact you with, so please don't dismiss anything at the first reading by you of this. I do get quite a few names from Spirit, but remember they might also be on the Earth Plane. So Ralph, here is your reading.
     Upon searching your face, Ralph, I pick you up to be a man with a good sense of humor, but this humor, to me, I feel is a dry humor. I also feel that if I was talking to you, I would be standing looking at a man who would choose his words carefully before you utter them. You have principles too, and an enquiring mind.
     Things are not, at the moment, very good in your life as you combat something that has happened around you, but you will combat this. What you do for others you do with fortitude, Ralph.
     You love the outdoors too, I feel, and do a lot of your thinking outside. Neatness is your second name, but not too much of this, as you need to feel comfortable too.
     If I was sitting on a porch in the cool of a summer's evening talking to you, I feel you could teach me quite a lot about life. Why? Because I feel you have had quite a life behind you, and an interesting one too.
     Busy, busy, busy. No time to stand still with you, Ralph! Keep hearing the phone ringing here. Is this what you experience all the time - answering the phone?
     Is there a special place in your garden where you like to sit? I feel there is.
     A lady comes through who is at your side a lot at the moment. She sends you much love and she would insist I give over the thought to you of the pansy flower (heartsease). Their smiling faces will be a tonic to you she tells me, and she says it's one of her favorite flowers.
     You see, Ralph, at the moment you and your loved ones need light and color. Whether you believe in the Spirit World or whether you do not, is not important. The loved ones and guides over there are all around the home at this time and the home itself is bathed in a beautiful golden light. This, Ralph, is a light of healing which is coming over with love.
     The lady I mentioned just now I feel is a mother figure to either you or your wife. If I am not seeing and hearing whose Mum she is, I do not try and guess. All I know is that she is a caring soul who would have cared greatly and helped when on Earth.
     Ralph, does the name Bonnie mean something to you? Cannot tell if Bonnie is in Spirit or on Earth.
     Do you like fishing, Ralph? I am being taken to water and a rod is being put in my hand.
    Was it your family that inherited a cabinet of beautiful objects? I feel some objects are made of either porcelain or china.
     Is your home, or a previous home, near a salesroom? I am in a salesroom with you. Hope you understand why I am getting this building.
     Ralph? Why am I now getting the feeling strongly that you bitterly regretted a passing of someone close because you felt more words could have been said to this person, but it was too late to utter them? If not with you then with someone around you. I just want you to know that it is never too late, Ralph, as our loved ones are aware of us here and can see and hear us and our thoughts. Just sit and think of that person, it will bring them close and they can read your mind. You don't have to speak out loud. You can discuss whatever you like with them, they will hear and understand.
     I am getting conflicting thoughts here now. One of a baby or child going back to Spirit which was very upsetting, and then Spirit are showing me a baby either coming to Earth now or not long arrived here with someone close to you. Can you take this please?
     I seem to be in Montana for some reason. Does this state mean anything to you?
     Spirit are saying that you could do with a good holiday or, as you say over there, vacation. Don't let go of that thought please. Maybe not at the moment, but they are showing me the future here and say you will go. Batteries need charging with you.
     Who loves Jack Daniels whisky? Is that you?
     As a boy, who had a home with a tin tub for bathing? Feel quite a few in the family here so it was very difficult for the mother to manage.
     I feel a brush with the law with someone also now. Does it mean anything? I don't feel this is you, Ralph, but someone you know well.
     An old black dog ambles up to you, Ralph, from Spirit. If this dog is still on Earth then I apologize, but it's very difficult when Spirit do not tell me. This dog has a cringing sort of gait when it comes up to be patted, but a tail that used to go so fast. It looks to me like a black Labrador or Labrador cross. Very affectionate in nature. Hope you can accept this animal.
     Does the name Vi mean anything? Jack also is being called out.
     I pick up that you are quite clever with your hands, Ralph, and can turn them to most jobs around you. Very versatile man here.
     Who is or was Mary?
    Are you searching books at the moment for research? I pick up that several unexplained things have happened throughout your life, Ralph, things you would like to get the answers to.
     See army uniform also here. If you cannot accept this, then it's someone close that you know. Maybe a past thing with the person, but see uniform clearly.
     Did you know anyone who used to either fly planes or worked on them? See a leather flying type jacket and to me it's Wartime. Jacket is leather with something transferred on it. Where is this jacket?
     Well, Ralph, I do hope that you can accept some of the reading from your picture. I like that face. It's got such a lot to say.

RALPH WARD'S RESPONSE

     HUMOR: I, indeed, do have a good sense of humor and most of the time people cannot tell when I am putting them on. Do I have a dry sense of humor? Yes.
     WORDS: I am a man that is working on choosing his words before blurting them out. In the past I'm afraid I would do just that. However, most of the time in conversations, I did, and would have to choose my words very carefully.
     PRINCIPLES: I did have a few principles, but I don't remember their names. Kidding, of course.
     ENQUIRING MIND: Oh, the enquiring mind. Yes, I have been well known for it my entire life. Ever since I was a small boy, I would want to know things that would be of no interest to others my age. Now, at age sixty, I haven't changed.
     COMBAT: Things could be better. For the past eight weeks, we have gone through a cancer scare with my wife. After major surgery (no cancer), she is now recuperating. After thirty plus years in business, it has now become a burden. Everything changes, especially our town with everything growing up around the malls. Where we were once in the heart of the city, now it is almost deserted. Business for the past two years has been the worst we have had in thirty years. The future looks grim.
     DOING FOR OTHERS:  I do enjoy doing things for others, but like most things I do, I go to the extreme and a lot of times doing for others backfires.
     OUTDOORS/FISHING: I could write a book on loving the outdoors from spending hours looking at the heavens in wonderment or sitting in my boat for hours fishing, a sport I have loved since I was old enough to dig a worm.
     NEATNESS: I am number five of thirteen children and lived in seven different houses before I was six. Our home was not the cleanest in the world and I wouldn't bring my girlfriend, when younger, to my house unless I spent half the day cleaning it. Our home now is comfortable, but if you walked in, you would think it was a show place because we never let it get out of order. I am a neat freak in some things, but you should see my desk and workshop. Only I can find anything in either place.
     PORCH: We have a cabin built on a hill at the edge of a woods looking down over a lake with a large front porch, one of my favorite places to sit and talk. Telling stories of days gone by or, many times, just sitting alone with the wind hitting my face and my mind soaring back through time. I have had an interesting life and have written stories about a lot of it. Of course, not all of it.
     BUSY/TELEPHONE: It is a constant run most of the time, and now, with the phone never leaving my side, it's a wonder I don't have cauliflower ear.
     LADY/MARY/SPIRIT WORLD: Like you said, whether you believe or not... the Lady and Mary are one of the same. I have been asking Mary, the Mother of God, to intercede with her son to help make me a better person and to help our business. This has been going on for some time. My mother has passed and I feel her presence sometimes, and my wife's mother has also passed who had a strong love for all of us and her first name was Mary as well as my wife's. Neither used the name and my wife long ago dropped it and took up her maiden name initial. I have written about some of my experiences with the Spirit world, so I am a believer.
     BONNIE: We have hit a stumbling block with this one. I know four Bonnie's, but none with any real significance. My first kiss, stolen by a water fountain in the first grade, was named Bonnie.
     CABINET: My daughter has side-by-side curio cabinets filled with crystal, some of which she has inherited through her husband's side of the family. I have been a collector of glass for years and have many objects of all types of glass. There are a few pieces in our cabinet given to us by my wife's side of the family, except for a sugar bowl that my mother gave her mother when she was eleven and my mother gave it to me before she died. That piece is my most prized.
     SALESROOM: Half of my life has been lived in a salesroom. That is what I do... sell. We have been in the furniture business for thirty-two years. Started in antiques, much of which I got from England. How I wish I had kept some of those English pieces as well as other pieces. They would now be worth a fortune.
     A REGRETTED PASSING/WORDS LEFT UNSAID: My oldest brother passed away early 2005. I was with him and told him to take Jesus by the hand and go with him. The hospice nurse told me that it would be twelve to twenty-four hours before he died. Forty minutes later, he took the Hand and left us to the amazement of the nurse. There were a lot of words left unsaid between this brother and myself. The asking for forgiveness or the forgiving was left unsaid.
     BABY: Several things go through my mind on this one. One sticks out in my mind and if you go to www.ortl.org and read the story, "Ten Fingers and Toes", you will get the story. The other two were babies that miscarried with the same couple as in the story, my son and wife.
     VACATION: We were in business eight years before taking a week off, then five years later, took another week. We haven't taken a week off since 1986. Are we gluttons for punishment or not? We, indeed, need to take a holiday and plan to do so as soon as we go out of business. My wife does not like to travel and said she would just as soon to go to the cabin as anywhere else. It is beautiful there, and with my love for fishing, I won't gripe a bit.
     JACK DANIELS: Not I. I may drink a beer occasionally, but I never got into drinking. I was given a bottle of Jack Daniels by a salesman in 1979 and it is still in one of the filing cabinets at the store. It took several years for me to get the salesman that sold to us to give us cheese or something other than alcohol.
     BRUSH WITH THE LAW: I had to go get one of our delivery men out of jail about six weeks ago, and I also had a nephew get jail time for drugs a few weeks ago.
     BLACK DOG: My son has a cross black lab that is very affectionate, but it is just now getting to full size. There was a friend that had a black lab that would go fishing with me when I fished their lake. He would chase my line most of the time. I grew very fond of the old dog, now long been dead.
     VI/JACK: This name means nothing to me. I have a sister name Veatrice and they call her Ve. My baby sister only had eight sisters, one passed in 1984. Jack doesn't mean anything to me. One guy in high school we called Jack. Of course, we can go back to that bottle of Jack Daniels that I have held onto for twenty-six years.
     RESEARCHING: I have been researching my religion. I have decided to start standing up to those that find it a need to run my beliefs down. I renewed my faith after a near death in an automobile accident in 1987.
      UNIFORM/AIRPLANES: I was in the military for eight years, one of which I spent in the Vietnam War. I was an air traffic controller at the busiest radar facility, at least at that time, in the world. Many moments of near death situations, not I, but those in the air. My brother that died last year flew ultra lights and I started to buy his, but my better half talked me out of it. He had one of those jackets, but I do not know what happened to any of his things. One of his kids has it, I'm sure.
     HANDS: I love working with my hands and am a jack of all trades. My wife tells me that she is still amazed at what I can do. Rarely do we need a handyman for anything.
     MONTANA: Never been there and don't know anyone that is from there, however, I have wanted to go there, especially to fish.
