CHRIS'S READING BY ANGIE Hello, Chris. First thing I pick up with looking at your picture is determination. It's written all over your face. I feel also that something happened at age 16 to you that really stays in your memory. I can't see what, but I feel it is there. Did a teacher once tell you something about yourself that hurt you? I feel this insensitivity was with one of your teachers. Hope you can understand this. That teacher was wrong. You came on in leaps and bounds when leaving for the 'big wide world'. Also, I pick up that you would love to trace your family tree, but never seem to get the time. Hope I am correct here. I see someone close to you in life (I think in life, I may be wrong) who looks very North American and has a lot of ways of the Indian in them. Think this is a lady. Have you ever studied Mata Hari, the Dutch spy in WWI? Get this pretty strongly here, Chris. Does the name Kristen mean anything please? I also see a brightly colored shawl, do you own one? The name of Ted comes in very strongly. Hope you understand the name. I also see ice skating with you or with someone you know. I feel very strongly that you will travel in the future in your work. I feel this has not happened and will not happen until you are in your 40's. There I go again into the future, but it's a good thing they show me and it's meant kindly. Are you not very happy with your three piece suit? Is it time for a change of furniture. What is wrong with your mattress too. Feel it may need changing very shortly. Who suffers from cramp? Have you ever visited Nashville, Tennessee? If you haven't, then one day you will go there. Hear lots of country music. Who has curled toes? Long toes that tend to bend over? Think of the works of Mark Twain here too. Did you love his books? See Huckleberry Finn, especially. Hope you understand why I see him. Who is Betsy? Does this name mean anything, Chris? Also, watch the roof of the house you are in. Is there a loose tile? There is a special fragrance that you love too, Chris. It's part of your persona. I see a bridge with you, Chris, rather a large bridge. Did you ever live near one or does anyone you know live near it. Large expanse of water. Do you ever wear a special pendant round your neck? See one on you that you wear. If not you, then someone you know well wears it a lot. Still feel it's you. I see you in pretty skirts in summer and you have a fondness of bright clothes. You are certainly not a person to wear black a lot (thank goodness). Bright colors are for you and suit your personality. There is a part of your face that you are not completely satisfied with? Silly you, no way, your face is perfect. You will probably say rubbish to that, but I still say it. A gentleman in the family died rather suddenly and comes in to say hi. Heart was the way he went. You know him, he says, very well. Wants to give love and hugs to you, your mum and all the family. He is telling me he inspires you and pushes you from Spirit. A lot of your ideas come from him he says. Very proud of you, too. Feel Father or Grandfather here. Where is the little white chapel? Well attended. Is this part of your past? Have you been thinking of new bright bedding? See new duvet cover, etc. being unwrapped. Who do you know called Taylor? Now, in USA, Taylor is often used as a Christian name, but unheard of here where it is only a surname. Hope you can take this name. Spirit are telling me you are extremely tense at this time and need to chill out as they say nowadays. I know that you have had much aggravation to put up with but this will all pass soon. Rest is not what you are getting. Feel a female member of your family needs some support, Chris. Is this your mum? Spirit are sending her thought and help for some reason. There is a birthday or anniversary around now also in the family and Spirit want you to know they are aware of this. The number 8 seems to mean something also. Don't know whether this is a date or a door number. I feel a date. Who is Lance? Is this name familiar to you or The Night Watchman? Something in your home has a rose on it? Like a part of a box or something. Did you ever make or think of making a box with a rose on it? Do you know why I get name of Julie? Who has been thinking about a camper van for holidays? Do you know of a lady who calls out Pearl? Who is she? See a chair or table in your home cluttered up with papers, etc. Not to move them as the owner knows where everything is in the pile? I also have a table like this. The hand of Spirit is being held out to you to help, aid and give you the ideas and wisdom that you need in your everyday life. You have great principles and you love perfection. Just remember that a little bit of imperfection is no bad thing. Is the dog okay? Feel a little bit of TLC is needed for something with him/her. The dog is very sensitive to atmosphere. Has someone tried to hurt your feelings in the past few days, Chris? 'Sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me.' Good old British saying. Watch out for a little bit of envy around you and don't retaliate. The cards are being dealt now symbolically to you. Take the hand that is given to you and make sure that you don't miss one trick!!!! I send love and blessings over in this reading and hope that some of it makes sense. As usual I have sat quietly to do it and concentrated on my guides. With love from Angie |
CHRIS'S RESPONSE TO ANGIE'S READING *Note from Chris... Angie did this reading for me around August of 2005. She also did a reading for The Night Watchman at the same time which we posted on the site. I've had people ask me why I hadn't had a reading done by Angie. I have actually had 2 readings from Angie about 2 years apart. I'm posting the most recent one now. As you read my response, you will see that certain things from the reading were happening or came to be not too long after the reading was done.* Determination seems to be my middle name. I have, and always have had, a driving need that comes from somewhere to do many different things all at once, and expect myself to be able to do them. This determination also causes me to never give up. I will fight hard for things I believe in, and keep going, even when other people have thrown in the towel on what appears completely hopeless. At age 16, my parents decided to move from Pennsylvania to Minnesota. It was the summer before my senior year. It was devastating. We had moved a great deal through my school years and I had gone to a lot of different schools, but I'd been at the Gettysburg school in PA for almost three years (a record, believe me). I'd actually had the chance to make some friends. Needless to say, despite putting up quite a fight, I lost. I ended up finishing school at age 17 in Minnesota. My World Literature teacher, my senior year, wanted me to go to college badly. He felt that anyone who did not go to college would never make anything of themselves and he felt I had real potential. When he found out that I had decided not to go, he was very upset and let me know that I would make nothing of myself - he could promise me that. Since graduation, I've never been back. I have actually spent almost 20 years tracing four separate lines of family trees. The most concentrated being the family of my oldest children's father. I have all the information, but no time right now to put it into any semblance of order. It does pop into my head upon occasion now that I should get it done, but maybe when I'm older... At this point, I cannot think of anyone that I know that is North American or has Indian ways. I will keep this in mind, however. I have never studied Mata Hari, so I'm not sure where this comes from, but again, I will keep it in mind. Right now, the name of Kristen does not ring a bell, either. The brightly colored shawl must be the one that I bought for my oldest daughter for her birthday. I hadn't seen a shawl in years and thought it absolutely beautiful. Ted would be The Night Watchman's old landlord and also was my oldest son's landlord when he took over The Night Watchman's apartment. This is the only Ted we know. The traveling is a good thing to know. The Night Watchman and I have talked about it a great deal and these are our plans. We do hope that it will take place in our 40's. I am already there and The Night Watchman will be there this month. Not sure about the 3 piece suit as I don't own one. As for the furniture, we have talked a lot about having more room to move things around, but it hasn't happened yet. We cannot afford new furniture at this time. I don't know who suffers from cramp unless it is my oldest daughter. I have not visited Nashville, but have listened to country music off and on for the last 10 years or so. I also recently worked part-time at a country radio station. Not sure who has the curled toes. The Mark Twain reference must be for The Night Watchman. His father was a teacher and read "Huckleberry Finn" to his students every year. The Night Watchman has a love for this book and has also visited Mark Twain's home town. I'm thinking that Betsy might be my grandmother, Bessie. She passed away several years ago. I did not get to see her very often, but she was my favorite grandmother. The bathroom ceiling was leaking around the light fixture at the time Angie did this reading. The landlord discovered a whole row of broken shingles on the roof. The fragrance that I wear and get teased for is Tabu. I've been told it is for old ladies, but I have been wearing it for about 15 years. I am allergic to most perfumes and have no problem with this one. It's a pleasant scent that doesn't make anyone gag when they are around me. I could not think of a large bridge or large expanse of water. Upon discussing this a bit further with Angie after the reading, she stated that she had seen me standing on shore with a large bridge close by. Not too long after this, The Night Watchman and I went to Van Buren County. We stayed at a Bed & Breakfast in Bentonsport, Iowa. Directly across the road from the B&B was a "huge bridge" across the river. The townspeople had placed candles along both side rails of the bridge and it was absolutely beautiful at night. I did not wear a specific pendant at the time of this reading, but began wearing a St. Christopher's medal before going to Bentonsport as a form of protection for our investigations at the old cemeteries there. As much as I would like to wear pretty, colorful clothing, and The Night Watchman and I have talked about it, I do not own any. I have not bought new clothes for many years as there is always something else that the money needs to go for. My nose has always been the irritating part of my face. It's not as bad now as I've grown into it, but it's a "family" nose from my mother's side - passed down from generation to generation. My siblings did not get "the nose", but I did. In grade school, kids would tease me about it being a ski slope for smurfs. The gentleman who died rather suddenly from his heart was my father. I was very surprised to hear him come through as we did not have a very good relationship while he lived. He died in 1986, shortly before my second child (son) was born. It was a major surprise to all of us. I can see him pushing me from Spirit, though more lovingly than he did while here and also giving me ideas. He was a very innovative man while alive. It was a lot to swallow upon hearing he was proud of me. This was not portrayed in life. Unsure about the white chapel, bedding or the name, Taylor. The number 8 has been my favorite/lucky number since I was a child. There is no special significance to the number, but it has always been my favorite. Lance is The Night Watchman's co-worker at the radio station he works at. He's a great mentor. Still unsure of the rose and the name of Julie. The Night Watchman has talked a lot about getting a camper van. We love to camp and it would also be great for the traveling we want to do. There is a relative named Pearl somewhere in my mom's family line, but I would have to dig out my genealogy stuff to remember. I do believe that she was a grandmother, but I don't remember how many greats past. My desk and the extra chair next to my desk often are piled with papers. The kids know not to mess with any of it as I know where things are. Occasionally I will clean it up and then I go through the frustration of trying to remember where I put things. It's supposed to be easier when it's clean, but I have an awful time. Ashes, our schnauzer, was going through a lonely period as I was busy on the computer, working, and taking care of the house. I have tried to make it a point to give her extra TLC. Thank you for the reading, Angie, especially the words from my father. It was a surprise, but very welcome. Love, Chris
