THE RUT OF PARANORMAL
INVESTIGATIONS

Our website offers a feature page for Paranormal Investigation
groups. Due to this, The Night Watchman and I have had some major
discussions about investigations and the evidence collected from these
investigations. These discussions have prompted some major questions which I
will list here.
1. Are we going to go out and keep gathering the same types of information,
share this online and do nothing else with it?
2. Does anyone really gain a lot of insight when only staying at an
investigation site for a few hours?
3. Is there something more going on with spirit photos and evps than meets
the eye?
4. How much can we really learn when everyone is doing the same thing?
Addressing each question in order... What is going to
happen with all the evidence being collected from investigations around the
globe? It seems that everyone is willing to share their evidence, but
nothing is being done with it. It's out there for show and that's about it.
Yes, there are educated guesses about what is found, but it is getting us no
closer to determining anything. Where are the data breakdowns and the
possible solutions?
The Night Watchman and I tried our own experiments with
30-day investigations which you can find in the links of our homepage. Our
determination was that the longer we stayed at a location, the more
photographic and evp evidence we received. This made us think that getting
to know the spirits was worth a great deal and that it was important to
collecting evidence. No one else that we know of has attempted this type of
investigation as yet, so we have no one to compare notes with on this.
Since working on the book, "A Gift from Spirit" with
Ron Bowers and sharing in his ability to take photos, The Night Watchman and
I have come up with our own possible theory. Perhaps these aren't actually
spirit photos that are being taken, which is what everyone believes they
are, so no questions have really been asked. However, our main question is:
Why do the "spirits" in Ron's photos wear clothes?
Off the
beaten track here a bit, but very important to the point I'm trying to
make... many people have collected evps that sound like two people speaking
to one another. Oftentimes these are disregarded as nothing because they
aren't answering a direct question that an investigator has asked. These are
thought of, at times, as just radio frequency pickups or television
frequency pickups because they didn't answer a direct question.
So, let's put Ron's photos and these conversational
evps together. Is it possible that the photos that Ron is able to take are
not spirit photos at all? Is it possible that he is able to capture actual
"living" people in a totally different time period. Yes, they look
"ghostly", but perhaps the digital camera cannot pick up the color of these
individuals because of the space between time periods. It can pick up the
color of what is around these individuals, but not the individuals
themselves. Sound far fetched to you? Perhaps, but let's consider the evps.
Many times what prompts Ron to take photos is hearing
or feeling something around him. There are times he hears singing or talking
or just feels odd. If Ron were to carry a tape recorder with him as well,
might we hear what he is hearing on tape? If so, would we hear someone
speaking to him or a snatch of conversation between two or more people in
the photo he has taken?
There are many people who believe that time dimensions
run parallel. Anyone who has ever seen the television series "Sliders" or
"Quantum Leap" knows what I'm trying to get across here. If we think along
these lines, then the conversational evps and the "spirits" wearing clothes
makes perfect sense.
Now, let's add in the houses purported to be haunted
because those living within it are hearing footsteps, banging, feeling cold
drafts, smelling strange smells, etc. If time dimensions run parallel, then
isn't is possible that there IS another family living in that same house on
a dimension that we cannot see (except occasionally), but can sometimes
hear? Isn't it possible that on the other end of the spectrum, the family in
the other dimension is thinking their house is haunted because they can hear
the movements at times of the people living in the house on our dimension?
Isn't it time that we stretch beyond a bit from what
everyone is doing? Television programs of people going into places deemed
haunted with psychics who are sensing "spirits" and, at times, interacting.
Are they spirits or are they actual living people from another dimension
that has certain abilities too to tap into our dimension? Nothing is ever
proven because we are all investigating exactly the same way with the same
thoughts of what is being captured on video, digital camera, thermal
equipment, etc.
The Night Watchman and I have decided to do some
investigations a bit differently. We've decided to take our thinking beyond
a bit to work on our hypothesis that what we've been capturing all this time
on film and tape is not "spirits", but living people in another dimension. |
Now, don't get me wrong. Some may be
spirits, but some could be in another time dimension parallel to ours. How
are we ever going to know if we don't stretch our investigations to
encompass other possibilities? Playing follow the leader seems to be getting
us nowhere.
We've
captured so many evps that are conversations between two or more people
while out investigating that it is difficult to ignore. At times, the people
having these conversations seem able to notice us and will interrupt their
own conversation to say something related to what we've said. We cannot
ignore this just because it may seem to be a random comment. It's not
NOTHING - it's SOMETHING... so WHAT is it?
Below are a few of the "conversational" evps we've
captured while out on investigation. As you will hear, there are two voices
and they are responding to one another. There was no indication that these
"individuals" knew that we were even there at the cemeteries where these
were captured.
Below are a
few evps where it seems that the "spirits" or "individuals" knew that we
were there and responded accordingly.
We can keep going on and on doing the same kinds of
investigations for years, but that's already been going on for years without
getting any closer to anything specific. All it has offered is a ton of
photos, videos and evps on the internet, but very little in the way of real
working theories. More and more people are creating groups to do ghost
investigations and these will bring the same results that are supposed to
conform to the "rules" of the game that more experienced "ghost hunters"
have set up. Yet, even these more experienced "ghost hunters" can give no
answers to the evidence they collect.
The only determination that we've seen thus far is that
"Orbs are nothing" from some of these better known groups. If they're
nothing, then what are they and why do we get them on film so often? Even
people who are just taking pictures of family functions and are not even
thinking of orbs suddenly have odd anomalies in their photos. So, if they
are going to be deemed as NOTHING, then some explanation should be given as
to why they are not considered as paranormal evidence any longer. I don't
know about you, but we can't explain them and just saying that they are
nothing does not make them go away. Does the moving orb in this picture look
like dust or moisture to you?
So, The Night
Watchman and I have decided to expand our investigations to encompass the
possibility of time dimensions parallel to our own. This means doing
investigations a bit differently and we're also testing another hypothesis
concerning time dimensions, so stay tuned. We'll be sharing our findings
with you on our website. Not right away, of course, as any good study
requires preparation and time, but we'll certainly share as soon as we have
anything worth sharing with you.
We've always been very particular about the evidence we
collect and share with our viewers. We want our evps to be clean and easy to
hear. Those that are not, are put away in a file that no one will ever hear.
What good does it do to share and evp that no one can really hear?
Chances are, we'll be sharing in much the same way as
we shared our 30-day investigations, giving all the details of our work.
Maybe we'll even write a book, but we'll see where it takes us.
Hopefully, others will begin expanding
their thinking as well and move out of the paranormal trap we all seem to be
stuck in. After all, if nothing is going to be done with the evidence that
has been captured, what good does it do to share it anyway? Isn't it time to
begin putting the evidence together and getting down to the nitty gritty on
it all? Truly, there's probably enough evidence out there to fill volumes
and volumes as it is, but it is still all separate which doesn't do any of
us any good.
