SHOFAR SOUNDS
By Esteban Acosta |
 |
My aunt, who lives in
Costa Rica, claims she could hear the sound of a Shofar playing in the
wind. She thinks this sound is a gift from God and believes it is an
Angel who is playing a Shofar.
The first time it was
heard was August 15th. At
around 9am it was heard briefly then 5 minutes later it sounded again, then
again, 5 minutes later it was heard again, 3 times with a 5 minute interval.

On Oct. 12th at 6 am
it was heard for about 5 hours with a 1 or 2 minute interval. She told me she
called a Jewish friend of hers to hear the sound and
he said it sounded like a real Shofar. This was heard on Rish Ha Shana,
On Oct. 13th at
10am, it was heard for about 1 hour (10-11am).
She was able to record part of it on an old tape.
I was able to hear this recording and,
although a little unclear, you can definitely
hear the sound of a wind instrument.
Later that
night it was heard again and it sounded like this:

She said there has been
occasions where others have heard it.
Her grandchild, who
lives in a house in the back of her house,
came up to her and asked her what the music she heard at night was and
she said she heard it in the wind. So,
aside from the dates above there have been
other times the sound has been heard.

BOOK EXCERPT FROM "COMING
FULL CIRCLE: Paradise Lost... Paradise Found" |
Where
does it start? Where does it end? There must be a beginning and an ending,
mustn't there? I have always been taught that all things begin and that all
things end. Surely it is written in stone somewhere. Could it be I was
taught an untruth? Could it be you were too? Even modern science is
beginning to think that the Universe didn't start, and that it will never
end. What a concept - what a revelation! It just is!
Consider the circle, a universal symbol of wholeness
and completion. Like science's new vision of the Universe, it too has no
beginning and no ending. Therefore, ponder this: If we are all travelers on
the Great Circle called Life, as the title of this book suggests, then
perhaps our journey also has no beginning or ending. If we have never left
this Great Circle, maybe all we have to do is remember where and what we
have always been.
My own story has no real beginning or ending. Your life
story is the same, whether you recognize it or not. Eventually, all of us
will come to understand this and finally realize the stories we are living
will never end. They will go on forever, just like the circle.
The circle also represents feminine energy.
Perhaps this is why I named the book as I did, signifying the balancing of
the yin and yang, the female and the male energy. In my opinion, this is the
ideal merging of the energies.
Even though I tell my friends that I had my left brain
removed so that I could just "feel" and "know", there is still a bit left.
Now, using this bit of reason and if logic prevails, I must have started
somewhere on this Great Circle. Since one point is as good as another, I
must choose a moment in time to begin my story. And staying true to the
circle, I must come back to that point at the end of this account.
I know. Let's pick a place on the arc of the circle
where I nervously knock on the door and enter trembling into the office of
my new psychotherapist. The fact that my therapist was a woman was not an
insignificant fact at that time in my life. Could the male energy inside me
accept what I was about to blurt out while fighting back tears?
A BETTER WAY
"I don't want to hear any of this crap about hating my
mother!" Little did I know at the time how that statement would come back to
haunt me. Here I was, in a psychotherapist's office not really knowing why I
was there. I just knew that I didn't want to die.
A few days earlier, I had attempted suicide by aiming
my car at a bridge embankment by putting the pedal to the metal. At the last
moment, the thought came to me that there had to be a better way than this.
Fortunately, the meeting between the bridge and my car never took place. And
while I managed to avoid ending my outer physical life that day, inwardly I
was still living in utter despair and in desperate need of help, whether I
was able to admit it consciously or not.
I was in my early fifties, Chief Radiologist at a very
fine hospital, with all the exterior signs of success or at least successful
as most of the world thinks. |
JUST MY THOUGHTS -
OUIJA BOARDS WITH VIDEO
By Christina M. Schumacher
Ouija boards are very controversial. Many claim to have had bad
experiences with a Ouija board and some are terrified to even try one
due to stories they've heard or movies they've seen which give the Ouija
board an evil reputation.
Personally, I feel the Ouija board has been given a bad
rap. Many have used it without scary results, communicating with very
wise souls (i.e. Jane Roberts and Seth). Like anything of a mystifying
nature, they are meant to be used with reverence, not for fun and games.
However, someone out there thought it would be great as a board game for
kids without giving them proper instructions.
I have a wooden Ouija board that I found at a garage
sale for $5.00. The board is from about 1917 and the "directions" on the
back are very explicit. They read as follows:
"Place the board upon the laps of two persons, lady and
gentleman preferred, with the small table upon the board. Place the
fingers lightly but firmly, without pressure, upon the table so as to
allow it to move easily and freely. In from one to five minutes the
table will commence to move, at first slowly, then faster, and will then
be able to talk or answer questions, which it will do rapidly by
touching the printed words or the letters necessary to form words and
sentences with the foreleg or pointer.
2nd - Care should be taken that one person only should
ask questions at a time, so as to avoid confusion, and the questions
should be put plainly and accurately.
3rd - To obtain the best results it is important that
the persons present should concentrate their minds upon the matter in
question and avoid other topics. Have no one at the table who will not
sit seriously and respectfully. If you use it in a frivolous spirit,
asking ridiculous questions, laughing over it, you naturally get
undeveloped influences around you.
4th - The Ouija is a great mystery, and we do not claim to give
exact directions for its management, neither do we claim that at all
times and under all circumstances it will work equally well. But we do
claim and guarantee that with reasonable patience and judgment it will
more than satisfy your greatest expectation.
5th - In putting the table together, wet the tops of the
legs, and drive them firmly into the table. Care should be taken that
they are firm and tight.
6th - The board should be kept smooth and free from
dust and moisture, as all depends upon the ease with which the feet of
the table can glide over the surface of the board. Rubbing with a dry
silk handkerchief just before using is advised.

Aren't those directions great! We certainly don't read
things like this in modern day board games, do we? These directions are

candid. Not only do they share how to use the board
most effectively, they share how to act and not act while using the
board, AND they guarantee results! There is also a type of warning that
if you act silly while using the board, "you get undeveloped influences
around you." Sounds like low level spirits to me.
I have been studying different aspects of the
paranormal for over 30 years, so my four children have been exposed to,
what many consider, unusual areas of learning. This includes the Ouija
board. I prefer to teach them what to do and what not to do when dealing
with anything of a paranormal nature than to take the risk of them
playing in these areas with their friends with no knowledge. My children
all have a healthy respect for the unknown, treating ghosts and spirits
with the utmost respect and that's as it should be.
My guide, Sakeina, has made teaching much easier by
allowing my children to communicate through her. While I advise them on
what questions to ask, Sakeina makes sure that low level spirits do not
enter into their energy field. Of course, always before starting any
session, we ask Cyrus, the gatekeeper Sakeina assigned to us, to place
his white light of protection around ourselves and our home.
At the end of this article, I have attached a video of
my youngest daughter and her friend using the Ouija board for the first
time. They are trying to find out from Sakeina, as I do on my pendulum
board, who my daughter's friend's main spirit guide is. As you will see
from the video, the girls start out very shy and unassuming, then build
up confidence as the planchette begins to move and they feel more sure
of themselves.
Even though, at times, I leave the room to talk to my
older daughter, you can see that the girls remain very respectful as
they've been taught. Sakeina understands that they are children and
allows them to have some fun with her as well. We have a very relaxed
communication with one another during pendulum sessions, so I wasn't
surprised at how at ease the girls felt after only a short time with
Sakeina.
The atmosphere that you see within the video was what
the girls themselves chose. When I ask them if they'd like to talk with
Sakeina, they said a definite yes and headed directly for the candles.
They enjoyed the freedom of creating their own unique atmosphere.
The girls also learned that sometimes the communication can be a
bit difficult depending on how strong the energy connection is, so they
politely asked for verification during these times. Their patience is to
be admired for being 12 years old.
Teaching your children proper respect is of vital importance. The
great thing is - they will pass it along to their friends if the
occasion ever arises where there is no supervision.
