SPECIAL MEMORIAL

This is in memory of a dear friend, Philip Morton (Phil) a wonderful human being who always thought of his friends. He was found tragically on October 29th, 2005 and was aged 50. At his Memorial the village church of St. Andrews was packed with more than 400 friends and relations. The vicar of St. Andrews let the family play all his favourite music and hymns and I know he was amongst us all. I have known Phil for over 20 years and he was in healing and development circle with me all those years ago. He was my soulmate. When I was having a very bad time in 1993 I walked in his bluebell wood and he asked me what the matter was. I discussed my problems with him and he gave me wise words which I took. Things from that day onward improved and this is my personal tribute to a farmer who loved his land and animals, who thought and loved his fellow man and was an inspiration to many many people. People are still reeling with shock at his sudden passing and he is buried overlooking his beloved farm in a little copse, up on the hill. A new forest of trees are being planted which was his wish and we pray for his wife, children and family members, especially his beloved sister Sue and his mum and dad, Patrick and Jean. God bless them and look after them.

IN SPECIAL MEMORY OF KHAN
"An exceptional Siamese friend"

Khan and Khali 'To a wonderful pet Khan 30th March, 1990 - 6th January, 2006 Rest in Peace From Angie Christie. |
KHAN
Tears were shed today for you, As Angels took you back again, You became so sick, so suddenly, You got so thin, were in such pain. It seems such a short while darling pet, Since a kitten with such little paws, All the years you showed such love, And never once had angered claws. All who met you had such love, For you, your whole life through, Its been but hours our little cat, Since we said goodbye to you. A love of life, Oh that you had, And mischievous how you made us laugh, Dragging home chicken bones and bags, Behind the rhubarb, down the path. ‘Aunties and Uncles’ you loved them all, And they have tears tonight, They had no time to say goodbye, As you gave up the fight. I felt a presence as you went to sleep, Waiting with loving open arms, Dearest Spirit keep him please, Look after our darling Siamese.

Dear Readers of The Night Watchman magazine. Today is a sad day, 6th January, 2007 as it is the first anniversary of our beloved Siamese Chocolate Point cat, Khan. He was a wonderful pet, gentle, loving and funny. We miss him more than words can ever express. I know that you all have your memories of your loved ones and pets who are no longer on the earth, but knowing how ill they became, we would not wish them to have suffered. This morning I wanted to write a poem in Khan's memory, like the one I wrote on the day he had to pass to Spirit, but no words would come. Then, a card was opened from my dear friend, Margaret Broughton, who lost her son, Peter, fourteen years ago and his beloved cat Tiddle 3 years ago. I wanted to share these words with you all today and hope that many of you get some comfort from them. The card read: |
A CARING THOUGHT |
I won't keep you a minute, |
It's just a line to say, |
That all my thoughts are with you, |
Especially today. |
I know how you are feeling, |
But I'm sure that you will find, |
Soon it will be over, |
And you can put it all behind. |
Sometimes it helps a little, |
Just to be aware, |
You're not completely on your own, |
So remember I am there. |
Anon. |
God bless you all wherever you may be. |

These photos were sent to us by Bernie and Denise from the UK. They show to us that we never know "when" those we love will show up in our photos or "where" they might show up. In the photos below, you can see Kim hiding in the underbrush, but Kim passed away fourteen years ago at a very old age and this photo was taken only recently. In this wooded area, there is very little wildlife - the largest being a jugged hare or a badger . My first thought, which I shared with Bernie and Denise, was that it was a fawn. But, if you look at the eyes and the nose, these are not fawn characteristics. If you compare the enlarged photo with the one of Kim, there is no mistaking that she came back to see Bernie and Denise. |

These photos were sent to us by Karin Diorio of her son, Peter, who passed away in August of 2002. These two photographs were taken 3,000 miles apart. Peter's ashes are in the golden urn in the first picture. There are several interesting areas of these photos. The first picture shows a light going upward from the urn itself which could be the flash, but you can also see this light going up the article behind the photo in the second picture and this is not in line with the flash on the actual photo. There is also the strange shape and spatter pattern in the first photo on the right hand bottom of the framed photo. This is not a reflection of anything in the photograph itself. A few odd shapes can also be seen at the base of the picture of Peter in the second photo. |

Karin also sent this photo of her son and two friends. It is obvious from this photo that the Spirit World was well aware of Peter before he passed. |

Here you see Karin with her son, Peter, before his untimely death. Although we can see the sun to the left of Karin, the bushes behind Peter are dark. This is where we find the angel shape which has been enlarged on the right. The angel has the halo, head, wings, dress and feet. It's absolutely stunning!!! |

WE HAVE A SECRET We have a secret, you and I that no one else shall know, for who but I can see you lie each night in fire glow? And who but I can reach my hand before we go to bed and feel the living warmth of you and touch your silken head? And only I walk woodland paths and see ahead of me, your small form racing with the wind so young again, and free. And only I can see you swim in every brook I pass and when I call, no one but I can see the bending grass. Author Unknown
