HOW TO INTERPRET A READING
FROM ANGIE
By Christina M. Schumacher
Back to Angie's Page
I can't help but wonder how many people have missed important messages from
loved ones when they've received a reading from Angie. It's understandable,
though, as we've been trained to take words at face value, but not trained to
look beyond the words.
When someone orders a reading from Angie, they are
usually wanting someone specific to come through to them. When they receive
their reading, their first instinct is to tear the reading apart piece by piece
and line by line, looking for something specific to know that a loved one has
come through. When a certain name or mention of a certain event is not present
in the reading, people seem to immediately lose faith in the person who read for
them. Remember, no medium is 100% correct, 100% of the time. If they claim to
be, then it would be wise to steer clear.
There are certain ways to look at the readings that
Angie does to get the most out of them. This comes in three steps.
1) Read the reading in
full before making any judgments about what is on there.
2) Realize that, at
times, parts of the reading may be for someone close to you as this may be
the only opportunity "their" loved one has a chance to get through.
3) Look more closely at
the reading. Do not necessarily take it line by line, but put certain
areas together. By doing this, you will see who the person is sharing the
message through Angie's guide.
Number one is pretty self-explanatory, so I'll move on to number two.
There may be times that the whole reading may not be for you. Clear
examples of this came in my own reading which you can find on Angie's
Readings page under "Chris, this site editor".
"Have you ever visited
Nashville, Tennessee? If you haven't, then one day you will go there. Hear
lots of country music. Think of the works of Mark Twain here too. Did you
love his books? See Huckleberry Finn, especially. Hope you understand why
I see him. Who is Lance? Is this name familiar to you or The Night
Watchman?"
All of these things
in my reading were for The
Night Watchman. He has been to Nashville - I have not. He has many
favorite singers (old country) and played them often as a child. He and
his family visited the town where Mark Twain grew up and his father read
the book Huckleberry Finn every year. Lance was The Night Watchman's
co-worker at his day job.
What this comes down to is
that there may have been a loved one who wished to let The Night Watchman
know that he had not been forgotten. We don't specifically know who this
loved one may have been but, chances are, it was someone who was around
The Night Watchman and his family when he was a child. This loved one also
knew where he was currently through the mentioning of The Night Watchman's
co-worker, Lance.
Since this happens often, Angie always suggests asking
those around you if something in the reading does not fit for you. By
doing this, you allow someone else to receive a much needed message as
well.
Moving on to number three. In my own reading, my
father, who passed in 1987, came through very strongly. Angie states:
"A
gentleman in the family died rather suddenly and comes in to say hi. Heart
was the way he went. You know him, he says, very well. Wants to give love
and hugs to you, your mum and all the family. He is telling me he inspires
you and pushes you from Spirit. A lot of your ideas come from him he says.
Very proud of you, too. Feel Father or Grandfather here."
I have no doubt this was
my father as he did die suddenly from a heart attack, specifically
mentions my mother and all the family, and says he inspires and pushes me
from Spirit and, of course, I knew him well. Just to be certain that I
would know it was him, he added a few other things within the reading that
I would recognize if I did not try to take things one sentence at a time.
"Have
you ever studied Mata Hari, the Dutch spy in WWI? Get this pretty strongly
here, Chris."
I was very confused
over this for awhile as I was pulling my reading apart too. However, once
a friend of mine had his reading, I went back to my own and re-read it and
discovered some interesting things. Mata Hari did not make
sense to me at all at first, until I remembered that I used to call my
father a spy. He worked for the government as secret service so I never
really knew what he did for a living. Thus, I called him a spy. He, of
course, would have known this and offered Mata Hari (a spy) as an
indication that he was coming through. There is no one else who would fit
this profile that has passed.
"I also
see ice skating with you or with someone you know."
This sentence
was also indicative of something my father would know that I
would recognize. It doesn't say that I am being seen ice skating, but it
is about ice skating. My father could not swim, so we were never allowed
to go ice skating as our friends were. It was a sore spot with all of us
kids.
"Where is the little white
chapel? Well attended. Is this part of your past?"
Another indication of
my father as "the little white chapel" was the only church I can ever
remember my father going to with us. It was also the
church where he accepted Christ.
"Who is
Betsy? Does this name mean anything, Chris?"
My father's mother's
name was Bessie and, after the reading, I asked Angie if the name had come
through clearly. She said it could easily have been Bessie as names are
not always as clear as she would like them to be.
You see, all of these
things are indications that my father was coming through in this reading
very clearly. He was sharing things with me that I would recognize as a
part of him. This is what you need to look for in your
reading as well.
Now, to prove the point, it didn't only
work like this for me. A good friend of mine had a reading from Angie and he
was actually the one who helped me to realize that there was
more to the reading than met the eye.
My friend had lost his father only a
year or so previous to his reading, so when he received it, he wanted
badly to find something within that related to his father. My father gave
me a bit more to go on, but his father also came through in a quieter
manner.
"Can you take the name of
Stuart somewhere also? Do you own a ring that is a signet type as I see
one on a finger. More a sovereign ring. Feel also that your grandfather
played a big part in your life. Can you understand this? Who is called
Al?"
Stuart and Al were both good
friends of my friend's father. The signet ring mentioned here was given to
my friend by his father and he wears it all the time. The grandfather
would also be his father's dad and my friend and the grandfather spent a
lot of time together.
"Why do I hear a
helicopter? Have you or did you ever have any reason to fly in one?
Do you regularly go into a café or little restaurant where you are pretty
well known? Who loves dogs also? Do you know anyone who works with drug
addiction?"
The helicopter belongs to either Stuart or Al, his dad's friends. The cafe
was the cafe that his father went to on a scheduled evening every week and
my friend and his wife have continued this tradition. His father
absolutely adored dogs. His father was also a police officer and worked in
the area of drug addiction for a long time.
As you can see, these were all
clues given by Angie's guides from my friend's father, but if he had torn
the reading apart line by line, he would never have recognized these
things being, specifically, from his father.
His father did not come right out and say, "Hi son, I'm here." Instead, he gave
other things that my friend would recognize and appreciate knowing that these
things were given as a validation to him.
So, if you look too closely, or you feel that every
line separately must mean something significant, you may be missing exactly the
message you are looking for.
Sometimes, a particular loved one will mention
something that has happened recently and let you know that they
have been watching over you. Reading between the lines may be what is
needed by you to recognize who that loved one is. So, if you've had a reading from
Angie, go back and take a look keeping these guidelines in mind. If you've
never had a reading from Angie, but plan to soon, please keep these
guidelines in mind as well. You will find that your reading is much more
informative than you first thought.
Of course, also keep in mind that
though Angie does not often go into the future,
sometimes loved ones will give her information that you may not understand
at this time. It does not mean that Angie is inaccurate. It means that it is
something or someone that you or, someone close to you, needs to watch for.
So, keep your reading close and check it out every now and then
as you might be pleasantly surprised.
