Email Interview with Automatic Writer, Silentstar

By The Night Watchman

The Night Watchman:  Many of us have heard about automatic writing, but don't know exactly what it is. What is your definition of automatic writing, and how did you come about your definition? Also, when did you become aware you had this gift?

Silentstar:  Automatic writing is an intuitive pipeline between the Spirit World and the writer. Actually, I asked my Guides and this was the answer I received.

As far back as I can remember, I have been in tune with writing as a way to communicate my deepest thoughts rather than the spoken word. I started doing automatic writing in 1993 about a week after I began having visions of the Spirit of a child (unknown to me) that I later found out on the six o'clock news was abducted and murdered. The very next morning I was awakened from my sleep and felt I had to write a letter to my sister. After the first sentence, my words to her changed and became very biblical as if I was quoting words from the Bible.

The next time I started to write a letter, my first words were "What of" and then the person's name. Example: "What of Mrs. Jones?" I have no reasoning why or how this happens. When I am given a name of someone who wants a writing, a strong feeling comes over me. Before I start writing, I ask for the person's highest and best good. I then just let the words flow as they come to me to or about the person.

The Night Watchman:  You say you let the words flow once you've been given a name. When you put the pen to paper, are you "hearing" the words you're writing in your mind, or, like some have described, is it an unconscious phenomenon? Is there a way to describe your process? If so, would you please?

Silentstar:  I will try to explain the best way I know how. Before I start to write, I ask for the best and highest good for the person I am doing the writing for. Then, I try to clear my mind so my own thoughts cannot intrude. When I feel relaxed enough, I listen to the Spirits or Angels around me and begin writing.

I do not hear voices per se. The words I write down come to me as a thought pattern. It is very hard not to let your own thoughts come into play. It is as if someone is talking to the person in my mind and I just convey the words onto a piece of paper.

If my hand or arm become very painful or heavy as I am writing or the words become negative, I stop and go no further. At the bottom, I apologize to the person and tell them I will continue the writing for them at a later date and time.

When I am writing and I close my eyes, I begin seeing in vision, Spirits of people who have passed on that are usually illuminated. There is also a cold chill. A cold chill always alerts me that death is around me. I then try to describe the way the Spirit looks and what they may be doing, showing or saying to me - not in a voice, but in thought. I always draw two little eyes before I write what the visions are I am seeing so the person will know the difference of the automatic writing and the visions I am seeing for them.

The Night Watchman:  Without giving names, could you describe some of the more interesting sessions you've done and the reaction you've received from some of your clients?

Also, have you been introduced to any of the Spirits that have helped you?

Silentstar:  My strangest writing was for a woman whose name was given to me by a friend and the message for her in her writing was about her roof leaking and the walls being ruined. The woman read it, and the next day, she called my friend and said there was nothing wrong with her roof but that night, after she'd read it a second time, she received a phone call from her tenant living in her Florida property, saying that after a heavy rain, the roof was leaking and the walls were soak and wet.

The "ultimate strangest" reading was when I was sitting in the midst of a group of women. Suddenly, an image of a young man with a black leather jacket and blue jeans appeared to me in the middle of the room. He was sitting on a motorcycle. He turned toward me and showed me a large round hole in the middle of his chest as he was holding up a pram suit for an infant. A young woman on the left side of the room said, "Oh my God. That's him." Then she told me I had just described her deceased fiancée who was shot and killed by his own father in a hunting accident the year before. She had a baby boy (his) a few months after his death. She thanked me and said now she was at peace knowing that he had seen his son.

One of the many things that has happened to me psychically was in 1993. While I was sitting in a dentist waiting room waiting for my granddaughter, I saw an image of a young girl with long blonde hair, with a black band in it, sitting in a chair at the secretary's desk. When the secretary came back into the room, I told her what I had seen and that the girl looked like Alice in Wonderland. She told me she had a niece that looked like that when she was younger, then looked strangely at me and walked into the back room.

Upon arriving home, my daughter called and was very upset saying that my granddaughter overheard the woman in the back room while waiting for the dentist to come in. The woman said I was crazy. Then, later that night, my daughter called back and apologized saying that the woman called her and asked if I could call her at home because when she had gotten off from work that night, there was a phone call from her (same) niece in California stating that her mother (the woman's sister) had suddenly passed away earlier in the day.

I am also a Reiki Master and have read and been told many times about Guides and Angels that are around me to help me. All I need to do is ask for their help and their names. I half believed that because I had not seen them around me, and to me, seeing is believing. When you are a visionary, it is very hard not to believe what you are seeing.

I know when I am hearing a true story someone is telling me or when I hear a name or see a picture of someone who is missing on TV because I get the coldest uncontrollable chills up and down my spine. One Tuesday night during our Reiki circle when it was my turn to be worked on, I closed my eyes, and as I did, I saw 8 people in Spirit (always illuminated) standing on my left side next to the table I was lying on. Believe me, I was amazed. I asked and they gave me their names. I will never forget Mario, Tom, Loretta, Louise, Coreina, Jim, Danny and Mother Mary who I saw in a vision as clear as day. She has one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen whether in the physical world as or the Spirit World.

I now have another who keeps coming to me in my dreams and during meditation. His name is Henry. He was my doctor and my friend in this lifetime that passed away about 8 years ago.

The Night Watchman:  Some great experiences to think about. But, for readers who may not be familiar with the title, could you elaborate... What is a Reiki Master?

Silentstar:  I believe a Reiki Master is a person who has evolved spiritually and has mastered the art of energy exchange used for self-healing. There are three levels of Reiki.

Reiki I is the study of the history of Reiki and learning how to do Reiki on oneself.

Reiki II is becoming a Master after months or years of doing Reiki on yourself and on as many persons as possible. Becoming a Reiki Master enables the Reiki II therapist who is ready, willing and able to teach others who are also open to helping others in the possibility of healing themselves by touch.

Reiki has become the essence of my life. I have received two major healings by doing Reiki on myself when the doctors who took care of my physical ailment said I had to have surgery for both debilitating problems or live with them for the rest of my life. I went to God, after 3 years of 24 hour a day pain with no relief from any medications I was given nor therapies, and asked for a healing. When I received the healings, I made a promise to God that I would do Reiki on anyone who needed it for free. I have kept my promise. Until this day, the horrific pain has not returned, yet the physical problems still remain. I am not saying that I am pain free from other (normal) aging aches and pains. Reiki has given me a new prospective on life and the knowledge of what it means to have unconditional love for mankind and faith in God's healings that goes through the Reiki therapist into the waiting recipient. I am also not saying that everyone who experiences Reiki treatments will be healed. I am just telling you that I am living proof of what it can do, if it's God's will.

The Night Watchman:  You really have some interesting subjects that I would love to elaborate on, so maybe we could do another interview for a later magazine. But, at this time, I'd like our visitors to know about M.A.M.A.

Could you give us some background about how this was all started and what your future plans are?

Silentstar:  M.A.M.A. Mothers Against Murder and Abduction. M.A.M.A. is a group I started in 1994 in Naples, Florida in hopes of helping the police and sheriff's departments find missing children. The group consisted of psychics, mediums, astrologers, and intuitive people from all walks of life who volunteered their time and gifts, along with myself, to join in the fight to find and free missing children from their captives.
