"Experiencing the 'Open Eye'

Raven's Background: The first experience I can remember was when I was five. I was raised in a strict Christian home and never knew anything about the unexplained. Thinking back, I recall drawing pentagrams when I was five, and all my life I have felt different - like I couldn't relate to anyone around me. Yes, I had friends and always have, but I never felt that anyone really knew me or understood me. I was in this Christian household until the age of twenty-two. Somewhere between then  and twenty-three, I started having questions in my mind.

I should explain, though, that ever since I can remember, I have always been into the unknown - ghosts, spirits, and things of that nature. I always felt a closeness to these things and would tell my mom about it. She would just always tell me to be careful, but no matter how many shows on ghosts or books on ghosts I've seen and read, nothing ever gave me what I was looking for.

Within the past year and a half to two years, I have been going through some serious spiritual changes. I didn't find out until I had a vision of my great grandmother that there was something out there looking at me. Now, mind you, she died long before I was born. I never knew her, saw a picture of her, or even asked questions about her, but she came to me in a vision.

I told this to my sister and found out that it was not supposed to be talked about, but my great grandmother was a witch! Not one of those psychic friends bull or anything money related, she was a natural witch that had telekinesis and could make things move with her mind. Even my dad talked about watching chairs walk themselves up the stairs. She would have meetings with people and do healings and things of that nature.

So, anyway, I wasn't supposed to know about this. My sister has had dream interpretation for most of her life and has almost come to be afraid to go to sleep at night because almost all of her dreams come true. I thought, "Hey, a lot of things I have dreamed or envisioned have come true as well", but I never really put much thought into it.

But, to get back on track, I had a vision of her, and in it, she was trying to tell me of my path and told me that soon I would start having answers to questions I have had and that little by little, I would start being handed down gifts. This is obviously the case especially of late, but before these pictures started happening, I would get visions sometimes of things to come and they would come true also! I would get thoughts in my head of things happening with my mother, then go over the same day or the next and whatever was in my head either would come to light then or she would just up and say something and I would be thinking, "That's the same thing I was just thinking about today or the day before." This would happen way too much to be just some small thing.

I have studied witchcraft and Wicca, but that's because it's a part of me. It's in my blood as is the Christian, so most of my earlier life, I gained the knowledge of Christianity and now I am learning the other side of me. Not because I am a witch or a Wiccan or Christian - I'm not really any of that, but all of it at the same time.

I believe life is full of good and evil as everything must have balance and in learning of both, you become aware and open. No, I am not evil. I'm actually very good, but I do know it and know all sides of it and good and evil are real. It's up to us to learn of them so we can differ in them to make the right decisions in our lives and our families' lives. By doing this, in the next life we will be closer to the answers everyone has been searching for.

Now, since I have been learning about all of this and have opened myself - but at the same time am protected - that is when the things started appearing to me and now I see Orbs flying around my room all the time, changing shapes and faces. There is no negativity in any of it and I am not afraid. Cautious, but not afraid. I believe that they are coming to me now both to give answers and protection and also to give me what I need to educate others out there like me who want and need to know.

The way I feel about all of them is they are just as real as humans or animals or anything else. They are just in different form and deserve the same respect that we would give to each other. We need to realize that they are here and always have been. We need to start opening our eyes and listening to them because they need our help in their existence just like humans who would see a psychiatrist. You know, they have problems and they need to talk or show us things sometimes so that they can move on with their destinies as well. I believe my purpose is to start opening people's eyes and start helping these beings in need. That is why they are presenting themselves to me now.

Night Watchman: In your background piece, you say you are seeing Orb beings and believe they are not only giving you life answers, but also information to share with others. What in particular have you learned so far, and how might you be able to better share that with a skeptical public?

Raven:  All my life I have felt drawn to the unknown and ghosts and things of that nature, but I really had not seen the things I knew I was supposed to see! I watched TV specials all the time and watched so-called ghost shows in hopes of seeing the proof I knew lived out there, but all I found were things that other people thought to be ghosts or spirits or whatever. This didn't give me what I wanted at all.

A couple of years back, I had a vision of my great grandmother who I hadn't met before. She told me that she would come and bring me gifts at different times in my life and that I would know when I would receive one. 

The second most recent gift is seeing things. Now I understand that to many people, this might sound crazy, and hey, I don't blame you. People want proof just as I did, but think about it this way. I'm not holding a gun to anyone's head trying to make anyone believe and I'm not getting money or a TV show because of this. I am only doing this because it's how I feel directed and I just want to help other people out there like myself who want answers the best I can.

 do not see things all the time, but when I need to, I do. It doesn't bother me. I have experienced seeing and feeling things that I never thought I would and wouldn't believe these things unless I had experienced them myself... which I have.

I have had ghosts walk down my hallway and disappear. I watch lights go on and off by themselves. I see Orbs sometimes flying around changing shape and character which mostly looks like their smiling. That actually makes  me feel better because no one wants to make a spirit angry or whatever else of that nature might be hanging around. Otherwise, I would probably not be so comfortable - lol.

Basically, what I have come to learn from all of this so far is that we are not alone and just because something isn't right in front of our faces, it doesn't mean it's not there. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, did it fall? Yeah, of course. That is such a funny question, I think. I mean, how did it come up out of the ground if it didn't fall, right?

IAnyway, I think that a lot of spirits just need people to understand them and not be afraid of them. If anything, I think that they might be just as afraid of us as we are of them. They want answers as well because, basically, they are looking at us from another dimension and they only see us a certain way as we see them a certain way. I think they just need help - kind of like a doctor listens to a patient - they need understanding people to try and help them understand.

Night Watchman: I want to know if you've been able to communicate with any of the Orb beings. If so, what information did you share with them and what kind of response did you receive?

Raven:  To be completely honest, I haven't been seeing them for that long and I am trying to get used to their ways and routines as I notice they do have routines!

There are certain times I see them or feel them or another presence and certain times I don't. My fiance and myself have an unbelievable spiritual link and it is her that take the pictures where certain things show up in the pictures. I also find when I am talking on the phone with her, or when I get off the phone, is when things feel most alive around me.

So, right now, I am still trying to figure everything out. One thing I can say is that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing and it all feels right and good. When the time comes, I will have more of the answers that I need to define all this.

Night Watchman: With your newly found gift, what goals have you set for yourself in both the short term and long term? Do you think the Orb beings will help you to determine a course of action?

Raven: I do have goals from this and it's all good I can assure you. I simply want to learn from anything and everything I see so that it would be the same if it was a friend that I was getting to know. That way, just like a friend, you can learn their behaviors and understand them more just by observing them. I feel that would open my eyes more to how I can communicate with them and speak their language, if you will. Maybe by doing this, it will be a way to show them or help them however they need.

This, and whatever other gifts I have or will have, is not about me. I am simply going to be an instrument used to help, not just them, but also others to understand when I better have the knowledge an information.

Do I think the Orbs will help me determine a course of action? Yes, I do! I think that they are here for a reason and I am seeing them for a reason. Be it big or small, the fact is, there is a purpose behind this. I feel that when the time is right, they will show me what I need to see.

My main goal is simply to learn and help the best I can. I can't stress that enough! I don't want money. I am not psychic. I'm just someone who was given a gift. Everyone has gifts, but the world around them blinds them and makes robots our of many. If it wasn't this way, I believe human abilities would far go past the so-called bounds of reality into a totally different world and state of being. But... all things in time!
