The Orb Controversy Page Two
| ||

Again, though this orb seemed to be in motion, the distinctive markings can easily be seen and are very similar to the first photo we took of a similar orb in the Eden Cemetery. Still, only two photos doesn't make a good enough argument. On another photo shoot on June 1, 2005, shortly before dark, we captured another fantastic orb at the Eden Cemetery in Rhodes, Iowa.
See the transparent orb in the upper right corner overlapping the tree? Well, take a look at its enlargement below.
Pretty amazing identifying marks on this one too - again, similar to the previous two orb photos. Now, don't think it didn't cross our minds that we might possibly have something on the lens of our camera that kept creating this orb in the upper right corners of our photos. The only arguments against this is that we cleaned the lens of our camera every time before going out for a photo shoot AND out of anywhere between 25 to 50 photos at a time, this orb only showed up in one photo at sporadic times. The densities and colors of the orbs are also different.

We were quite intrigued by this time. We'd begun calling these orbs our "scarred friends" and would scrutinize our photos even more closely than previously. On June 25, 2005, we went to Bentonsport, Iowa for a mini weekend vacation. Bentonsport is in Van Buren County which is considered a very historical area within Iowa. The towns are old and many have been kept as original as possible. When evening came, we visited many of the surrounding cemeteries and also took pictures within the town of Bentonsport. The photo below was taken of an old building that was once used as a hideaway for runaway slaves.
See the orb, cut in half, in the upper right corner of the photo? As before, its enlargement is below. Keep in mind that we were nearly seven hours away from where the first of these orbs showed themselves.
Compare the markings on this one to the previous three and you will see that, again, they are similar. None of the other orbs within the photo of the old building had any distinctive markings at all. In April of 2006, we began a 30-day investigation (found under entertainment on the homepage) of the Hillside Cemetery in State Center, Iowa. Every night, for 30 days, we went out to this cemetery at 8 pm and followed the same investigation procedure for 10 minutes each night at exactly the same small area in the cemetery. During this 30 days, our scarred friends showed up in 11 different photos which, again, can be seen under "best photos" of the investigation pages. The most amazing evidence was yet to come. No matter where we went, these orbs seemed to be able to find us and continued to show up for us to photograph. They weren't always in the right hand corner of the photos anymore, so we could rest assured that it wasn't anything on our camera lens. | |
