Hello everyone, Angie here. I hope that you are all well and still very much enjoying this special magazine which you, yourselves, have helped so much to create over the time that it has been online.

First of all, I want to tell you that I wish to send over all my grateful thanks for those of you who have asked me to read for them. I have made some very good friends whilst working for the Night Watchman and this has heartened me very much. Not only with the readings I do from the photographs, and getting your replies to them, but also for the way that you have written to me with your problems and worries in the Questions and Answers page. The Questions and Answers came about because I was beginning to realize that some of you do have thoughts and worries over certain things that have or are happening in your life. I was astonished at the response I have received from this page. It has really heartened me to receive such letters. It also makes me realize that you actually read my page that, Chris, my editor has made for me.

Being a medium sometimes has such wonderful feelings with it when Spirit come up with the right words. You can imagine how I worried when I was asked to participate in this project and wondered if I was up to the task. Reading from a photograph! But I have realized over the years that Chris was right in asking me to do this. It has strengthened my faith and made me a stronger person in myself.

Also friends, I realize that there is a need for the communication to reach you. I started realizing this when the magazine was not even ready for publication. I would often come online and, surprisingly enough, most Sundays there would be someone hailing me on ICQ that needed help. I would sit for a long time sometimes just trying to talk with this person, often with the words that they needed.

Then, along came Chris and the Night Watchman, suddenly asking me to participate in the magazine.

Of course I was thrilled to be asked and I thank Spirit that I said ‘yes’ and have never looked back.

Friends, one thing that has worried me that I feel I must convey to you all. As you know, when I am sent a picture of somebody I work on it as soon as I possibly can and as the readings, I feel, are much awaited for, you do not have to wait days for them. I try sometimes to send the reading back the same day. The worry is this, friends, and I hope you will accept it. Looking at a face in a photograph, I study it for ages before starting to do the reading. Imagine my shock and horror upon receiving two such photographs and, after sending over the reading, have been told these people are deceased. You can imagine how this made me feel.

Explaining more fully the need for me to know whether the picture is of a person deceased is because I automatically speak to that person in the photo and it is not very nice for me later to find out the person is in Spirit. In fact, I get very upset to think I have read the picture wrongly.

To do the best I can for you all this is paramount.

Say a mother is grieving for a dead son or daughter. She sends me their picture BUT fails to inform me that they are no longer here. I sit and look at this face and speak to that face. Upon receiving the reading, how upsetting for the mum and dad. As I have stated, I am only human and everyone should remember that a medium can make mistakes. Please help me to serve you all as well as I possibly can, but I need your help.

A medium is not all seeing, all knowing. We each have our ways of working and this is a most upsetting situation for a medium. We give what we receive.

May I ask a huge favor of all the readers of Night Watchman Chronicles - PLEASE, PLEASE, friends - anyone who requires a photo reading in the future, can you make sure that you make it very very clear to Chris, my editor, and myself, that the person is either on earth or in spirit. Don’t just send a picture and say nothing. Chris has placed instructions on this on my Get a Reading page.

I sent over such a reading the other night and felt awful when told afterwards that the young man was in Spirit. However good a medium is (or otherwise) smile, we are human like the rest of you and for me, this was extremely upsetting. It is not the sort of thing some people realize - all they want is to send the photo and get a reading.

I have decided that I WILL do a reading of a deceased person but I must be told first.
