NORTHEAST AIRCRAFT
MUSEUM -
MY CONNECTION WITH MARILYN MONROE'S SPIRIT
By Angela Gill
During August/September 2011, my partner, Kevin, and I visited the
Northeast Aircraft Museum to talk to Keith, the manager, to show him a
magazine article I had written about the spirits (ghosts) in the
aircraft museum. I thought he would be really proud! The article was
about a couple of pictures I had taken with spirit in them two years
before. The magazine really liked my photos and work and went along with
publication in September of 2011. I gave Keith the magazine article,
then showed him some of my portfolio of spirit work from over the last
few years.
After that, not wanting to waste the journey to
Washington Tyne & Wear, UK and as Kevin had never been there before, we
decided to stay on at the museum and try to see if we could catch any
more spirit on photos with our cameras. We went all the way around the
museum looking at the planes, helicopters, etc. Kevin and I opened up to
work with spirit and started taking photos to see if we could capture
anything strange.
It was later at home while looking through my photos
from the day on my computer that I noticed there was a picture with a
lot of spirit faces in it. The picture was of a side of an airplane and
the spirits had imposed themselves on the plane's inner wing. Not only
were there spirit faces, there was a blonde haired lady. She was naked
and standing as if she was posing for a photo.

I opened up then as I could only see her up to her
nose. I tuned into the photo to see if I could pick up anything to give
me an idea of who this spirit lady was who had imposed herself on the
plane for me to photograph. It was then I made a link and was told by
spirit that someone had been found in the nude, 1944/1954, California,
spray-paint, dark and blonde hair, and the Elton John song "Candle in
the Wind."
At first, I went on the Internet and Googled spray
painters and pin ups from the 1940's and 50's, but couldn't find a
connection. My mind was now a blank and I was not picking up anything
else from Spirit. So, I went on YouTube and typed in Elton John "Candle
in the Wind" and a tribute edition of Marilyn Monroe came up. I hit the
play button and watched the video closely. Marilyn was being shown when
she was young and I immediately recognized her jaw line and hair from
the spirit picture on the side of the plane. In the picture, her head
wasn't fully showing, just her body, mouth and hair.
After that, I Googled Marilyn Monroe and up came a page
about Marilyn's life, her career, etc. Here it stated Monroe (then Norma
Jean Baker) worked at Radio Plane Munitions Factory in Burbank,
California, spraying airplane parts with fire retardant and inspecting
parachutes, etc. During this time, Army photographer David Conover
encouraged Monroe to apply to the Blue Book Modeling Agency. The agency
got back to Marilyn that they were only looking for models with lighter
hair so this is when Marilyn bleached her brunette hair to golden
blonde. Bluebook took Marilyn on their books and she became one of their
top models. She also posed for pin painter, Earl Moran, who was very
successful in the 40's and 50's.
So, what I received from the lady in spirit on the
photo, Norma Jean Baker/Marilyn Monroe, was all correct. With this
information, I was able to go back to the Northeast Aircraft Museum with
the information and the picture. I asked if there was a plane dated
1944/55 or a plane with parts which could have come from Burbank,
California where Marilyn worked in the 1940's. At first they couldn't
place anything and then another guy came in who worked there and said,
"Well, yes, there is a plane here from California. It's the Lockheed
T.33 Shooting Star."
This man then took me to the Lockheed T.33 Shooting
Star. It was an American built jet trainer aircraft which was on loan to
the museum. He was really impressed with the spirit photo and the detail
I had given him concerning where the plane was from and who worked in
the factory. The plane was really impressive with its bright orange nose
and it was in great condition as it had just been a training aircraft
and hadn't seen any real action.
After having the chat with the guy who showed me the
Lockheed T.33, I took some more photos before I left. Marilyn turned up
again beside a helicopter. Before I took photos, I could see and feel
spirit energy building up and that's why I started taking photos in this
area. The helicopter was at the back of the museum where the parachutes
were also on display. This time, Marilyn stood beside a helicopter with
her hands on her hips. It wasn't the clearest of photos, yet I could see
her blonde bobbed hair and it appeared that she was wearing an oval
green jumpsuit, like Army overalls.

The helicopter was a CH-19 from the 1950's. Later, when
I Googled on the net to find a connection, I found out that Marilyn had
visited Korea in 1954, flying in a CH-19 helicopter and wearing an oval
green top and trousers! What a connection to detail! Also good was the
fact that Marilyn, when working in Burbank, inspected parachutes for a
while and the helicopter was in front of the parachute display. With
this evidence, the staff from the museum were really impressed with the
detail and they invited Kevin and I to the next ghost hunt at the
museum. While the ghost hunt was on, we could walk around by ourselves
to see if we could pick up any better photos during the night time when,
hopefully, there would be more spirit activity.
THE
NIGHT OF THE GHOST HUNT
Kevin and I arrived at around 9 p.m. to the Northeast Aircraft Museum,
ready with our cameras to communicate with spirit and hopefully get some
more great photos. When the ghost hunt began, Kevin and I were allowed
to do what we wanted to, so we walked around by ourselves in the dark,
opened up our chakras, and began working with Spirit. 'Every so often,
we would find somewhere quiet to sit down, open up our minds and see if
any spirit would come forward. While in the museum, we did feel spirit
and saw a couple of silhouettes, but nothing scary or out of the
ordinary happened. Beings spiritualists, we weren't there for scary
stuff and stayed away from the Ouija board, etc. as I communicate better
with my camera and through my mind.
On our way home from the ghost hunt, I quickly looked
through my pictures and did notice there were some really good photos
with spirit energy on them. I thought I'd look at them properly on the
computer over the next couple of weeks when I had time and was less
tired. I care for my mum so sometimes time can be limited.
A couple of weeks went by and I found myself with some
time. Between us, Kevin and I had taken 600 photos on the ghost hunt and
I went through all of them in one weekend. There were quite a few
pictures with spirit in them, but I wanted to narrow it down to the best
ones and, hopefully, come up with some fantastic results with just a
little lighting from Photoshop. I never alter an image other than to
lighten it and sharpen it a bit. Since spirit show themselves better in
the dark, lightening and sharpening in Photoshop makes them easier to
see.
When looking through the photos, I came to one that I
took of the Lockheed T.33-54439 Shooting Star. I first noticed an orb in
the top right hand corner but, when I looked at the plane itself, there
was Marilyn Monroe sitting in the back seat of the cockpit. She was
looking straight at us with her head turned on a side profile. Although
she was sitting in the plane, she was facing the back of the plane, so I
don't know if the seats in back face that way. Her hair was blonde,
short bobbed, and curly. So clear, yet only her head can be seen due to
her sitting in the cockpit. It's definitely Marilyn in the plane.

It may have been like psychometry in mediumship. This
is where something was owned or touched by someone before they passed
and their energy stays within the object. When a medium touches it, they
can communicate with the person in spirit. Somehow, Marilyn came through
to me to give me this information and to say she is happy now in a sweet
voice. Everything else, when looking at the photos, was being given to
me by my spirit guide, yet I did hear Marilyn say the words, "I'm happy
now." It was in a sweet, down-to-earth way.
What a story though! Who would have thought that if you
open your mind, anything is possible. Especially since Marilyn Monroe
died before my time. May Marilyn Monroe/ Norma Jean Baker rest in peace.
