SHOFAR SOUNDS

     My aunt, who lives in Costa Rica, claims she could hear the sound of a Shofar playing in the wind. She thinks this sound is a gift from God and believes it is an Angel who is playing a Shofar.
     The first time it was heard was August 15th. At around 9am it was heard briefly, then 5 minutes later it sounded again.  Five minutes later it was heard again. This was three times at five minute intervals.  LISTEN HERE
     On Oct. 12th at 6 am it was heard for about five hours with a one or two minute intervals. She told me she called a Jewish friend of hers to hear the sound and he said it sounded like a real Shofar. This was heard on Rish Ha Shana.
      On Oct. 13th at 10am, it was heard for about 1 hour (10-11am). She was able to record part of it on an old tape.  I was able to hear this recording and, although a little unclear, you can definitely hear the sound of a wind instrument.
      Later that night it was heard again and it sounded like this:  LISTEN HERE
    She said there have been occasions where others have heard it. Her grandchild, who lives in a house in the back of her house, came up to her and asked her what the music she heard at night was and she said she heard it in the wind. So, aside from the dates above there have been other times the sound has been heard.
