ANGIE'S Q&A CAFE FOR "STRANGE HAPPENINGS" Question: Hi
Angie. This may sound a bit strange, but is there such a thing as a haunted
phone? I have had cellular service for many, many years, but ever since I got
this last one, a couple of strange things have happened. The first time, my
phone rang in the middle of the night. By the time I got to it, they had hung up
but the caller i.d. identified the last caller as my daughter. Not realizing the
time (it was around 2:30 a.m.), I called her. She said it wasn't her and all of
her family was sleeping peacefully. A few weeks later, my phone rang again in
the middle of the night. It sounded distinctly like my grandson yet all he did
was whisper, "Mamaw". I knew he was spending the night with his other
grandmother, so I debated on whether or not to call her. I can see my daughter's
house from mine and all lights were off. I concluded that if something were
wrong, he would have called his mother. The next day, I asked him if he had
called me last night. He said it wasn't him (the caller i.d. had no number at
all). Am I blowing this out of proportion? It has me baffled. I hope you can
help. Thank you! Leatha
Question:
Hey, Angie, thanks so much for
this service. I have someone or someones that haunt our home. Our home is
only 3 years old. We are the first owners. But, before we lived here, we lived
in another state and there were strange happenings there also. Actually,
throughout my life I have had things happen around me. Noises, things that move,
shadows. I even had a man that was working on my dishwasher 2 years ago hear one
of the strange noises. Now these don't happen constantly. They seem to come and
go. It is possible that this is a family member that is still around me. Is
there a way for me to find out. This past Friday a friend was here and we heard
someone walking on my stairs. But when we looked no one was there. Now, she is a
little chicken to come back and visit me. Let me also state that the area my
home is built on was a very active battle area during the Civil War. Sherman had
headquarters in our town, and of course, his march to the sea, the burning of
Atlanta, etc. Thanks in advance for any help. Teresa
Question:
My questions are: Why is this
entity causing problems and staying in my life? And, what should I do about
clearing my house and bringing happiness into our lives? Dijay
Question:
First, I would like to offer my prayers for
Daniel. Was glad to hear the operation was a success. Hope he will grow to be a
strong young lad. I would like to ask if you can help me with something that is
on my mind. I have three young sons, two of which went to the U.S. Army in July
of this year. When we took our second son to the recruiting office to start his
new journey, my husband looked up to the sky and, in the clouds, were a set of
crossed swords. We did not understand the meaning of this, so we talked about it
for a moment, then went on with our lives. It had been exactly four months to
the date that our son left and we got photos from him. The first photo from the
stack of many was a photo of a plaque with crossed swords - the same design as
in the clouds. Can you maybe help me to understand a meaning behind this? My
husband thinks that maybe it could be a sign from someone from the family whom
has crossed over. Could you please ask your guides to help us see a light on
this subject? Thank you for your time and God bless you. Teresa.
Question: Hi. I'm hopeful someone can help
me. We just returned from a 2 day trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
We've been there hundreds of times, but this was the first time that
our youngest grandson joined us. We were window shopping down town
when a shop with crystals & stones caught the boy's eye. We entered
the shop to see the owner had just completed a puzzle of a Chinese
Buddha. My 7-year-old grandson commented, "That's Chinese." The owner
looked up with an astounded look on her face and questioned him. "How
did he know it was Chinese when everyone else thought it was an India
Buddha?" My grandson shrugged his shoulders and replied that he didn't
know. We continued on to investigate the shop since, in our
homeschooling classses, we are studying crystals and have made three
different types ourselves. Anyway, the owner began to follow us
around, listening and watching us talking quietly about the crystals.
When a bowl, for lack of better, caught his eye, she sat down on the
floor with him to show him how to play music on this bowl. He equated
the sounds to wooden wind chimes and proceeded to tell her of the
hollow tones. Again, this woman lifted an eyebrow and questioned him.
This is where things got a little sticky. She asked did he know where
he came from. His first response was his hometown and state, but she
went on to ask where he came from before that. He furrowed his
eyebrows and replied, "From his Mama." The lady pressed further,
asking again where he came from before that and could he remember
anything before his birth to his Mama. (For the record, we are
Christians although my daughter has not attended church with her
children. The boy I am referencing knows of God and Christ, but only
what we teach. He doesn't go to Sunday school or Bible school.) I was
uncomfortable with her questions and my grandson grew frustrated with
her persistence and rose to his feet and walked away from the bowl he
was playing to look at more stones. He is an extremely curious child
and, eventually, saw a door and asked the owner where it led. When she
opened the door for him, I was surprised to see a narrow stone hallway
lined with metal suns & moons and a burning candle. I suspect it was
an altar of some kind, but I doubt anyone kneels to pray or meditate
on gravel. She took the time to discuss the suns and moons with him to
some degree since we had also just completed studying Summer Solstice.
We do school year round, mainly just to keep the boys busy. Summer is
a lot more fun because we can branch out and follow curriculum to a T.
We also do more field trips and explore natural forces more indepth in
the summer. Both of my grandsons have extremely high IQ's, but both
are also hyper active and public school's answer to that was sedation
which we oppose. Either you comply to sedation or they pull your child
from the main body and we also found our kids were bored and not
applying themselves. Now, they apply themselves and get into their
studies because we challenge them and hold their interest. Anyway,
this woman and some of her friends were totally enamored with my
grandson. When he was ready to go, he approached the woman and thanked
her for her time and for sharing her shop with him. I felt somewhat
peculiar when we left her shop and had a difficult time explaining to
my grandson why she was asking so many questions. In truth, I don't
know what the woman wished to know. I surmised she was a mystic or
psychic or spiritualist of some kind. I told my grandson she was a
mystic that thought he possessed special gifts. I could have told the
lady my great grandfather, 1/2 Cherokee Indian, was known in his
family and community as a psychic. My grandmother always whispered the
term psychy. My mother is Irish/Cherokee and Dad was Welsh, Scots &
Choctaw. My husband is Navaho, Choctaw and Spanish. We study history
of our heritage with the boys in small degree, but steer clear of any
discussions that are contrary to Biblical teachings. The fact I "chase
ghosts" took years for my husband to accept. My mother, who is in her
80's, freaks out to this day and quotes scripture on how we aren't
supposed to mess with spirits or the dead. I just now discuss my
interests in small degrees with my friends. My older grandson took an
interest in the paranormal a few years ago so we tour cemeteries,
hotels and so forth together looking for ghosts, but I was at a total
loss for an explanation about this woman's interest in my grandson.
Does anyone know where her questions were actually leading? Better
yet, what was I supposed to tell my grandson? I wasn't convinced he
understood or accepted my answers. I don't know if he was annoyed or
frightened by this woman, but he did wish to discuss her after we
left. Thanks for any help you can offer. Linda |
